Hardy Eucalyptus

Air-Pot containers were originally developed in Australia for Eucalyptus trees and in Worcestershire England Grafton Nursery use them to grow over sixty species.

“We grow all of our trees in Air Pot containers – we’d be lost without them.

We would never grow a Eucalyptus tree in anything else (other than the ground), and wouldn’t recommend you do that either. This is not some latest gardening fad sales pitch, we’ve done the research in traditional round pots and thrown away the dead trees for you!”

Hilary Collins CEO and head grower at Grafton Nursery

Kew Gardens

The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, one of the world’s leading horticultural institutions, uses Air-Pot containers to grow more than 3000 different species of plant.

“Our priority at The Royal Botanic Garden, Kew is the health, vitality and successful establishment of every single plant we produce. In the past 15 years we have established that the Air-Pot system indisputably offers the best growing solution for our needs. Quality of stock aside, the Air-Pot container’s reusability makes our growing process in the nursery much more sustainable. The manufacturing quality of the Air-Pot material makes the system extremely durable and robust, simple and easy to store large quantities which has allowed us to reuse the kits for ten years or more and they are still viable.”

Deepdale nursery

Deepdale were an early adopter of the Air-Pot system and are one of the leading growers and wholesalers of semi mature trees.

We have been using Air-Pot containers for over twenty years and they are a fundamental part of our success and of the Deepdale story. Once planted the trees establish much faster than bare root root balled or other containerised trees, with virtually no failures. As a result our customers now specify Air-Pot grown trees even for winter planting, where bare root trees or root balled trees would be a cheaper option.
