Blueberry Trial
For the last three years a trial has been running in Holland to determine the increase in blueberry yield made possible by growing in Air-Pot containers compared to standard pots.
The trial is growing Duke and Liberty varieties and the pictures above demonstrate the huge difference in plant vitality and yield. By the third picking year there was a massive difference in weight of fruit produced in the two container types, with the Air-Pot grown plants producing a hugely increased yield.
The trial is ongoing and from March 2024 has been taken on by Delphy B.V. experts in agricultural research and data driven crop management.
