Fantastic Fruit
At Holland’s leading horticultural research centre PPO, recent trials have demonstrated that growing in Air-Pot containers produces bigger yields of Redcurrants than any other container.
Fruit Consult, who are conducting the trials, have now set up a further trial, with input from Air-Pot consultant Rutger Hornikx, to work out how to increase the yields even more. The plants’ healthy root development also means that they can live longer in the containers, reducing costs and further increasing profitability for growers.
