Featuring patented angled cones, the new design makes working with Air-Pot containers even easier, while further enhancing the effectiveness of the air pruning process.
Meaning better productivity and even stronger growth.

Different angle
A radical redesign of the shape of the cones is the outstanding feature of Air-Pot 7.
The increased size and downward pointing angle of the cones makes the containers:
- Hold the base in position more firmly
- Easier to fill correctly with compost
- Create conditions for even more effective air pruning of the roots
Stronger base support
The top of the cones on the inside of the container is longer and flatter forming a more secure shelf to hold the base.
Easier to fill
For the air pruning process to work effectively it is essential that Air-Pot containers are filled correctly with well compacted compost filling the cones.
The new cone design makes this easier as the growing medium naturally falls into the angled shape.
Even better roots
Over the course of 2024 selected nurseries across Europe have trialled prototype Air-Pot® 7 containers. The results have shown even more spectacular root development across a range of diferent species of tree.
The new cone shape is triggering even more effective air pruning leading to a mass of healthy outward pointing fibrous roots.
